Kryoneria is a mountain village of Nafpaktia that belongs administratively to the homonymous Municipality. It is built on the northwestern slope of Mount Fteropyrgos at an altitude of 1,170 meters and is about 60 kilometers north of Nafpaktos. It has a rare natural beauty, and its name is due to the abundance of water resources that surround it. According to the 2011 census, it consists of 145 permanent residents.
