Ampelonas is a lowland village in the Peripheral Unit of Ileia at an altitude of 120 meters. It is 8 km north of the city center of Pyrgos, borders the settlements of Eleonas and Kouzouli, while on the west side passes the Yardanos river. The original name was Romesi and in 2011 the population was 519 inhabitants. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
