Epitalio is a small town in the prefecture of Ileia, built on the slopes of Dardiza hill. It is surrounded by dense vegetation, while it is 7 km from Pyrgos and 3 km from the Ionian Sea and the mouth of the Alpheus River. Until 1970, the area was dominated by the lagoon of Agoulinitsa. Northeast of the town is the monastery of Zoodochos Pigi Epitaliou, while at a distance of 3 km southwest extends the homonymous beach. In 2011, the population was 1,469 permanent residents, most of whom are engaged in agriculture and livestock. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
