Agios Ioannis is a lowland settlement in the prefecture of Ileia. It is 5.5 km from Pyrgos and 8 km from Katakolo. It is the seat of the homonymous community of the Municipality of Pyrgos and amounts to 471 permanent residents, according to the 2011 census. West of the village is the Holy Monastery of Isiodiotissi, which is built in the cave of the rock and dates from the 15th century. This point of interest is Plain and Rural.
