Skafidia is a lowland village in the prefecture of Ileia. It is the seat of the local community that belongs to the Municipality of Pyrgos and includes the settlements of Kalakaika and Patronikolaika, including the Skafidia Monastery. It is about 13 km from Pyrgos and 10 km from Katakolo. In 2011, the village had 122 permanent residents, while the entire community numbered 211 inhabitants.
