The Holy Church of the Diocese of Oleni is a small church built in the 19th century, on the ruins of the Byzantine Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior, the so-called Diocese today. Oleni Castle is a building of Byzantine times, the name of which refers to a great medieval city, known as Olena. It is one of the most important archaeological monuments of Ileia, from which only a few ruins are preserved from the fortification of the city. The ruins are located on the hills above the village of Oleni in the prefecture of Ileia, with the remains of a gate being of the greatest interest. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
