The old municipal library of Pyrgos was housed in a neoclassical building on 28th of October Street. It was built in 1831 and presents important architectural elements, since it is made of stone with tiled roofs and a perfectly symmetrical two-storey building on all sides. It was declared a work of art by the Ministry of Culture and was considered ideal for saving the historical character of the city of Pyrgos. Now, this building is dilapidated and is in complete abandonment and decline. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
