The building of the Holy Metropolis of Ileia is located on 28th of October Street in the city of Pyrgos. It is a neoclassical building of 1850 and therefore one of the oldest in the area, while in 1939 it was purchased by the National Bank of Greece. The Metropolitan Palace of Ileia and Oleni offers important social work, helping orphans and families in difficult financial situation. This point of interest is Plain and Urban.
