The Church of Agios Athanasios is located on the south side of the village of Ariada. It is a small stone church of basilica style, with a wood-carved iconostasis and old icons, which was built in 1910. It is the patron saint of the village and celebrates on May 2, while from 1964 to 1967, an elementary school operated inside the church. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
