Idomeneia is held every year, in the month of August, in the village of Empesos. This is a series of cultural events that last five days and are organized by the Cultural Association of Empesos, in collaboration with the Association of Empesians O Agios Thomas, which operates in Athens. The events include a variety of activities, such as music nights, book and painting exhibitions, theatrical performances, folklore events and traditional dances.
