Theriakisi or Theriakisio (official name: Theriakisioni) is a traditional mountain settlement and is located on the northern border with the Prefecture of Arta, at an altitude of 720 meters. According to tradition, the settlement was founded by the inhabitants of Thirekisi or Thirakisi, Ioannina in 1600 when they went to the area to escape from the Turks. In 1836 it is officially mentioned with the name Thirakisi or Theriaki while its current name is given in 1940. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
