The Folklore - Historical Museum located in the village of Empesos was founded in 1991 by the Association of Empesiotes in Athens O Agios Thomas, the Cultural Association of Empesos and the former Community of Empesos. It is housed in the beautiful stone building of the Old School and has a rich collection of exhibits, which highlight the way of life and the habits of the inhabitants of the old times. Its function is quite important, as it contributes to the revival and preservation of the history of the place. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
