The cave of Agios Andreas the Hermit is located on Mount Kanala, about 5.5 km northwest of the village of Chalkiopoulos. Inside the cave are located an iconostasis and a niche of the 14th century, which compose the area of ​​the sanctuary, while at its deepest point is the tomb of the Saint. The cave is located in an area of ​​special natural beauty and offers a magnificent view of the artificial lake of Kremasta. Every year on May 15, the day of the saint's sleep, a solemn Divine Liturgy is celebrated in the cave with the presence of a large number of believers.
