Vliziana is a small mountain village in central Xiromero. It is built between the Akarnanian mountains at an altitude of 440 meters and is located at a distance of 15 kilometers from Astakos. Its name is probably due to the water that gushes from the ground even in the summer months. According to the 2011 census, the population is 127 permanent residents.
