Chrysovitsa is a lowland village in the prefecture of AItoloakarnania with an altitude of 120 meters. It is located southwest of Lake Ozeros and is 16 km northeast of Astakos. The Machaira-Prodromou provincial road passes through the interior of the village and to the east of it the ruins of an ancient city have been found. In 2011 the population was 287 inhabitants.
