The Holy Temple dedicated to Agios Athanasios is located in the center of Varnaka village. It was built in the 16th century AD. and was built of stone, while today the old Temple has been rebuilt. It has a spacious courtyard, which is flooded with crowds of believers on May 2 each year, on the day of the feast of St. Athanasios. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
