The Holy Temple of Agia Zoni or Timia Zoni is located in the village of Kalidona in the Municipality of Zacharo. This is a historic church built on an earlier Byzantine church. The church functioned as a parish from 1826 to 1833 and has since been abandoned. In 1961-1962, after excavations for the restoration of the church, many findings came to light such as bones, tombs and jars that revealed much about the history of the place. The church reopened on August 31, 1962, so every year on the same day a Divine Liturgy is held with a large number of believers. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport.
