The Church of Agios Georgios is located on the north side of the village of Kalidona in the Municipality of Zacharo. It is a new stone church, which was built to replace the old one and started its operation at Easter 1970. It has a tall bell tower and on the outside it is decorated with beautiful frescoes in bright colors. Its spacious courtyard is flooded with crowds of worshipers during its operating days. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport.
