Kalidonas castle is located near the village of Kalidonas in the Municipality of Zaxaro. Only ruins and several parts of the fortification are preserved from the castle. The castle is also called castle of Anilio or castle of Glatsa, due to the neighboring village to the southwest which is called Anilio and until 1927 was called Glatsa. Also, the locals call this ancient settlement Paliokastro or Gyftokastro. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
