Lake Caiaphas was formed after great earthquakes in the 6th century AD. Inside is the islet of Agia Aikaterini on which dominates the homonymous church. The lake is often chosen for water sports and in the area, there is a rich flora and fauna variety. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
