The Church of Agios Ioannis is located 700 meters northwest of Makrisia. It is a small white church, built in 1899 on a beautiful pine hill. On August 29, it celebrates the memory of Agios Ioannis. It is known as the chapel of exile and every year in its courtyard it hosts the Feast of Hellenes Abroad, which is accompanied by quality cultural events, the presence of residents, but also several people of art.
