Makrisia square is located in the center of the village, in front of the Church of Agios Nikolaos. It is a paved square with many flower beds with bushes and flowers, but also wooden benches, which offer relaxation to the inhabitants. In the center dominates the monument of the Heroes, while next to it is placed the statue of Papa-Kolovos, a great Fighter of the place, but also a model of altruism, selflessness and social contribution. He took part in liberation struggles, and finally in the Revolution of 1821. This point of interest is Flat and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
