The Church of Agios Georgios is located in the village of Skillountia in Ileia. It is a traditional orthodox Christian church, which is made of stone, which gives it a special wild beauty. On the outer walls are the windows, decorated with the symbol of the cross at the top, while next to the main entrance rises the bell tower. After the catastrophic earthquake of 1965, the inhabitants of the village were moved to a new location, with the result that the Temple was deserted. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
