Koufopoulos is a semi-mountainous village of Ileia, on the western slopes of Mount Kampenitsa. It is 3 km from Andritsaina, 47 km from Krestena and is located at an altitude of 816 meters. During the Byzantine period it was in great prosperity, but later it was claimed and inhabited by Venetians and Franks. According to the 2011 census, the inhabitants’ number 21 and are mainly engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
