The Monument of the Fallen Krestena is located at the western entrance of the city, behind the General Hospital. It depicts the Unknown Soldier and dominates the center of a paved square, which is decorated with palm trees. It is the work of the sculptor Falirea and every year on the anniversary of the revolution of 1821, the inhabitants lay a wreath at the monument to honor the fallen fighters of their city.
