The Triton River is one of the tributaries of Alfeios, which flows into it in the village of Irea. It is a small river of Ileia that originates from Mount Minthi and crosses the ancient Alifeira. Near the Monastery of Sepetou it forms a small gorge with waterfalls, creating a beautiful landscape of wild nature. According to a version of Greek mythology, the goddess Athena was born in this river. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
