Kato Samiko

Kato Samiko is a settlement in the prefecture of Ilia and is located north of Lake Caiaphas. It is just 2 km from the Ionian Sea and 3 km from the village of Samiko. The railway from Pyrgos to Kalamata passes through the village, which has been judged as the newest monument of the area since 1985. The population amounts to 428 inhabitants according to the 2011 census, while the settlement together with Klidi and Frangokklisia are the local community of Kato Samikos, which belongs to the municipal unit of Skillountos of the Municipality of Andritsaina - Krestenwn. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport.
