The Church of Agios Athanasios is the main church of the village of Skliva in Ileia. It is a beautiful stone church, located near the road and the main square of the village. Internally it consists of a wood-carved iconostasis, decorated with the icons of several Saints, but also of gilded hanging chandeliers. Every year on May 2, a Divine Liturgy is celebrated for the celebration of Agios Athanasios, with the inhabitants of the settlement flooding the Holy Temple. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
