Agios Ioannis Elissis or Agios Ioannis is a lowland village in the Peripheral Unit of Ileia at an altitude of 60 meters. It is located near the Amaliada-Chaniou Provincial Road and specifically, between Amaliada, from which it is only 4 km away and in Havari. It belongs to the Municipality of Amaliada and according to the 2011 census has a population of 431 inhabitants, who are mainly engaged in the cultivation of watermelons and raisins.
