The Holy Monastery of the Transfiguration of the Savior is located just outside the village of Agios Ilias. It is built on a hill overgrown with slopes, with a magnificent panoramic view. The small monastery with the long range is also known as Sotiroula. Inside there are the monks' cells, as well as a beautiful stone church, surrounded by plants and flowers. On August 6, many believers visit the monastery to celebrate the Transfiguration of the Savior. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
