Anthonas

Anthonas is a mountainous settlement in the Prefecture of Ileia, which belongs to the Municipality of Ilida and is located at an altitude of 380 meters. Historically it dates from the time of Ottoman rule and its then name was Tatarali. Centrally dominates the Church of Agios Nikolaos which is also the patron saint, while at the highest point of the village is the Church of Panagia Theotokou. According to the 2011 census, the population is 95 inhabitants, whose main occupation is animal husbandry and agriculture. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport.
