The Archaeological Museum of Ancient Ilis was built in 2002 and took two years to complete. It is located on the southeastern outskirts of the ancient city, on the slopes of the citadel hill and overlooks the archeological site. It is a modern museum with elegant architecture and many interiors. It includes findings from excavations at the archeological site, but also around it, which date from the Early Helladic to the Roman era. Specifically, the museum exhibits sculptures, vases, statues, figurines, bronze utensils, weapons, coins, tombstones, clay and stone architectural members, and other small objects.
