The Holy Monastery of Agios Vlasios dates between the 15th and the 16th century. It is located in the village of Dafni, which is only 12 km from Amaliada, while until the 1950s it belonged to the Docheiariou Monastery of Mount Athos. Then, the area was bought by the Agricultural Association of the village together with the monastery and shared in it. Many repairs were made in order to save the post-Byzantine Monastery that was collapsing due to an earthquake. The serrated tape under the roof and the dome, as well as some murals are preserved with alterations to this day. The Church of Agios Vlasios celebrates on February 11, with many people attending the chapel. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round.
