Lessini is located near and west of the Acheloos river and northwest of Mesolongi. In its center is the Holy Church of the Assumption of the Virgin in 13th century.The most important attraction of the area is the forest of Fraxos,one of the few hygrophile greek forests ,which has been characterized as a Landscape of Special Natural Beauty. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
