The Valley of the Fairies is defined as the area in the middle of the river Gidomandritis, from the place Dipotamia to the Machaliotika Straits, with a length of 4 km. The name is due to local traditions for the appearance of fairies on the spot, a theory based on the shocking natural landscape with lush vegetation, riparian plane tree and the diversity of geomorphology from which geological formations in many colors emerge.
