The Church of Agios Georgios is the main church of Markopoulo village. It is a large church with a beautiful paved and stone paddock around. On the feast day of the Saint the church is flooded with many inhabitants. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is not accessible through public transport.
