The Church of Agios Georgios is located in Lygia. A small uphill staircase leads to the manicured courtyard and the marble steps, located at the main entrance of the church. Its characteristic is that the bell tower is not a separate building but is integrated in the main Temple. Agios Georgios is the patron saint of the village and on April 23 a celebration takes place, with the procession of the icon of the Saint and the accompaniment of the faithful and the philharmonic school.
