The Holy Monastery of Agios Nikolaos is located just outside the village of Kavasila. It is a historic monastery built in the 14th century by Agios Nikolaos Kavasilas, who consecrated in the area. In the past, the monastery hosted several monks, while today their cells, in combination with the wooden kiosk and the stone well, decorate the courtyard.
