Persaina (or Old Persaina) is an abandoned settlement built at a height of 519 in the Prefecture of Ileia. Palea Persina was moved to the new location after the earthquake of 1965, where according to studies the settlement had to be built in a new safe place. In the old settlement are found ruins of traditional buildings, houses and shops as well as four impressive temples. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. It is accessible all year round.
