Viper Castle is located 3 km northwest of the settlement of Kakotari, in a mountainous area called Kakotarovouni (or Skiadovouni). Ruins of a medieval castle and settlement have been found, while the river Pineios flows under the castle. Access is difficult and is done on foot or by jeep. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
