The Holy Monastery of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (another name: Kato Moni) is located south of the settlement of Lampeia and impresses with its remarkable structure, the ornate wood-carved iconostasis of the church and the impressive hagiographies. Inside the monastery there is a founding inscription that indicates that the monastery was built in the 18th century. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. It is accessible all year round.
