In the settlement of Leivartzi, an original custom is held every year in honor of the National Anniversary of 1821, which remains unforgettable for every visitor. The inhabitants, mainly the young, climb to a high point that is visible from all four settlements (mahalades), where they dig the word “no”. They put ashes and oil in it and then set it on fire.
