The Byzantine Church of Agios Apostolos is located in the settlement of Chrysanthio. It was built of lime and stones, has a vaulted roof and beautiful paintings. Its doors are low as in this way, according to tradition, the Turkish Agas could not enter the temple on horseback during the Turkish occupation. It has been damaged by an earthquake and for this reason the inhabitants rebuilt in 1859 a new church of Agios Apostolos in the central square of the village. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
