The shrine was built in 1878 at the entrance of the settlement Monastiri, is 6 meters high and inside is a large icon of the Virgin Mary. It is made of limestone and in the center of the south wall there is a small fig tree as old as the shrine. From the point starts a stone path that ends in the square of the church of the Assumption of the Virgin. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
