The Church of Agios Charalambos was built in 1903 on the site of an older church in Akrata. It is an imposing church with impressive frescoes. It was characterized as a newer monument as it is a remarkable example of ecclesiastical architecture of the early 20th century. This point of interest is Flat and Rural.
