The centenarian plane tree of Pausanias, together with the 12 fountains, are an attraction on the beach of Aigio. The plane tree got its name from the reference of the ancient traveler Pausanias and is one of the oldest trees in the country and its age is exceeding the 600 years. It has been declared a natural monument since 1976. This point of interest is Coastal and Urban. It is accessible all year round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
